A Chaotic Dance with “Bullet”

Right, so I dove into *Bullet* with zero expectations, and boy, did it take me for a ride — a wild one. Directed by (this is where your brain might go “ah, yes, him”) the energetic vision of Josh Trank. I mean, I’ve seen some of his past work and wondered if we’d see his signature flair. We kinda did, I think.

On screen you’ve got some solid heavy-hitters. Adrien Brody is in it, wielding his Oscar-winning charm, with that forever slightly pained gaze of his. And there’s Ethan Suplee—remember him from *Remember the Titans*? Yep, he pulls some surprising moves here. What makes it fun (or frustrating, depending on the brew you’re sipping) is the chaotic mess sometimes on display. Like trying to put together an IKEA furniture piece with random screws.

Don’t expect deep philosophical themes or a storyline tighter than a Swede’s wallet on a shopping trip in downtown Stockholm. Instead, the film sprints and occasionally stumbles across the genres like a moose lost in Skansen. One moment you’re in a western, the next in a gritty crime drama. It’s like mixing Kalles kaviar with herring—oddly fascinating!

Sitting down to *Bullet* reminded me of the summer my cousin and I tried to fix up his old Volvo ‘76. Tools everywhere, some shouting, some strange satisfaction in the chaos, and at the end of the day, it still kinda worked. It wasn’t pretty, but it had spirit.

Overall, *Bullet* is… an experience. Would I recommend it? Maybe. Grab your closest fika companions and dissect its quirks over coffee. Just mind the jump cuts, they hit like a slap from the north wind.
